Reasons and solutions for conveyor belt tearing

There are several reasons for the tearing of conveyor belts. 

Firstly, when the conveyor belt reaches its service life due to aging, it will cause tearing. 

Secondly, due to equipment reasons, the conveyor belt may age or tear prematurely.

After the conveyor belt is torn and cracked, the following treatment methods can be taken:

① When the service life of the belt reaches its service life, it should be immediately replaced with a new belt;

② Replace damaged or severely deformed tape with a new belt and replace metal clips;

③ Strictly control the feeding of large materials, ironware, and coal to the belt;

④ Reasonable tensioning force should be selected for the tensioning device acting on the belt;

⑤ When purchasing conveyor belts, choose belts with excellent quality and performance;

⑥ Add deviation adjustment rollers and protective devices to prevent deviation. If the belt is stuck by the rack, it should be stopped immediately and the problem solved.
